Rambaldi's Box (DVDs)

For those of you who haven't already preordered your season 5 DVDs or don't own any of the Alias box sets, I just discovered this morning they're releasing all 5 seasons in one Rambaldi Box set. Check out the official website for it, and if you can't think of the access code, just google Rambaldi. ;-)

This has nothing to do with the Rambaldi box (which looks totally awesome, by the way) and I apologize for hijacking the topic, but a thought just occured to me. Do you think Jen and Michael and Victor (etc, etc) miss this show as much as we do? Do you think they ever get on the bolgs and read what we say? Hey - for all we know, one of us could be one of them using an alias (pun intended!) to sign up. How awesome would that be?!

(OK. I think I've officially reach geek stage just wondering this.)

It's okay Bonkers. I am thinking- considering Jennifer's emotional reaction to the end of the seasons, that she misses Sydney. Sydney was an amazing character- strong and sexy, fun and goofy- complex but simple. I am sure Victor misses Jen and I am sure Michael misses the steady work. Its hard to be part of something that strong and big and not miss it.

I highly doubt they read blogs or check in on websites, as they are busy busy, but its a nice thought- to keep in touch with what made them stars, to pay tribute to the fans and the people that supported the show 100%. I am sure in their own way they pay tribute to the show- maybe they have inside jokes, maybe Jennifer reads over an old script or two, just to touch Sydney for a minute and say hi.

I've wondered before if any of the stars or the writers were on the boards. All I can say now is that I strongly identify with the line "You cheated death, Arvin. But you couldn't cheat me."

The Book with the box reveals that the writers intended Rambaldi to be a 21st Century Time Traveller but never had the time or space to work it into the story.
