Looks Like Bloopers

Oops, looks like Ben and Jen caught us spying. Hi ya'll, no Alias updates, but take a look at these photos! Is that last one not a blooper face?? I think we've seen that face before. Hahaha!! Glad to see JG out and about- would be happier if they were pics from the set of an Alias movie. Uncle, how's it coming?

How does a bum in a baseball cap bag a girl like Jen? I have an old baseball cap, too, but ya don't see me running around with Jen...not even Jen-Lite.

Come on, Ben is a good guy. And look how happy she is. He was a player, she was a player (she was, come on- Scott-right on the Vartan), then they met and settled down. I like Ben- hell, I watched Dare Devil for them!! And Elektra. That is dedication.

haha yeah those are cute pics. Not to be cheesy but I do hope they stay happy together. Nice to see her smile again!

I didn't mean to imply that I didn't like Ben, just that the guy looks like a slacker.

I liked his movie "Paycheck", where he had his memory washed as part of his contract to do some top secret work for some sleazebag. On the other hand, I've never been able to sit through "Good Will Hunting".

I watched "Elektra", too. I actually didn't mind it except for the early part where JG was a ruthless assassin. I had issues with that. She came around nicely in the end, though, and she even found time to utter that old "Alias" chestnut "we'll find each other". A wink into the camera at her loyal "Alias" following would have been a nice touch at that point.

I actually like Daredevil (I even own it). LOVE the pictures, too.

I'll know in a couple of months how I'm doing in the screenplay contest(I think there are around 2500 entries). I'm making a few corrections, etc., and then I'm going to try to find a way to get it to JG. I'm also working on a sequel (going for a trilogy- wouldn't that be cool?!).

BTW,
Any help in locatiing an address to send her the screenplay would help us all get an Alias movie.
Thanks!

Hey Uncle, you know Jen and a friend are the co-owners of Vandalia Films. I believe Be With You, one of Jen's upcoming films will be produced by the Vandalia. I would search for their address, though I know there isn't much information on it.

Thanks girlscout. I Googled them and didn't come up with any contact info. I think I'm going to wait till the contest is over. If I place high enough I'll get free representation by an agent for a year. If I don't place high enough for that I may still place high enough to get on board with an agent. I hear that most people in the industry will not read unsolicited scripts for legal reasons, but only look at ones from established industry sources.

Another couple of months to wait.

The season (series?)finale of "Jericho" (a suspension-of-disbelief-serial show as was "Alias"),aired barely a month ago, after which it was widely considered to be dead meat. Thanks to fan outrage at the cancellation, CBS has vowed to bring the show back for a 2nd season.

I watched the whole first season of "Jericho", and I thought it was a pretty decent show, but it sure wasn't any "Alias". Is it possible that "Jericho" fans were so much more passionate about their obsession than "Alias" fans were about theirs?

Had "Alias" fans been equally outspoken about their displeasure with the cancellation of their favourite show, would we be looking forward to Season 7 this fall?

While it's clearly too late to continue the "Alias" franchise in series form, maybe, if fans were sufficiently vocal, a string of movies (uncle's trilogy anyone?) would not be outside the realm of possibility.

Or maybe "Alias" would have enjoyed a better fate on CBS.

I think that's just it page, ABC was the problem here, not the fans. I enjoyed the first half of season 5, had ABC not screwed the show by canceling it and cutting the number of shows maybe the last half wouldn't have been such a disappointment, who knows, but either way I just blame ABC. They show no respect to the fans of shows that kept them at the top of the charts for multiple seasons. I'm glad to know that Lost has a predetermined number of seasons left, gives me hope that they've had the ending planned since the beginning and we'll get the closure on all the questions unlike Alias. Hopefully ABC won't screw that up by canceling it early, keep your fingers crossed.
