Hiatus

Hi All,

After much thought, and some consulting with friends, I have decided that Let's Talk Alias will be on a temporary hiatus until the season 5 DVD's are released in late November.

We have been around the world in the last 10 months- learning all we possibly can about our favorite show and learning so much about each other. We have turned Alias inside out and flipped it back again and now its time for a little rest. I am still very much in love with Alias- it is my all time favroite show- and it has opened doors for me, helped me explore my writing and television and has led me on this path of blogger-dom and for that, I will be forever grateful.

As you may have noticed, my blogging resume has grown rather lengthy and I fully intend for it to get longer and longer as I take on primetime television. I hope to see you all over at Primetime Princesses, once it is up and running- as your words always inspire and spark thought. You can also read my daily musing about life at Singing in the Shower (shameless plug, I know).

This is not the end. This site will never fade into the background, it will never be discontinued or forgotten... it's merely time for a nap as I move on and jump start other projects. If you have Alias information or have a topic or article you would like to post during the hiatus, please contact me view e-mail. Also, once the season 5 DVD's are released, we will be back at it, to discuss deleted scenes, bloopers, commentary, etc. I will continue to post Scene Caps of the Week, every Sunday night and I will post the winners of the season 5 Favorite Awards this coming Monday.

As you can tell by my electronic tone, this was not an easy decision for me. Let's Talk helped me put my foot in the door and you know I could go on and on about Rambaldi and Sydney and Vaughn and Jack and Sloane until the sun comes up. But, the rag has been rung for now. Until November my friends, farewell...

Sincerely,
Your BlogMaster Girlscout

:(

Will you return in October, or when the DVD's are released in November? I'm confused... and sad.
The 'favorites' list will be incomplete... one less site to check each day. Crap, I miss Alias!

Time for me to register at primetime princess :)

aww, this is so sad. But if it must be done, then it must be done. Can't wait till november.

don't do it...

I know, I know... it makes me so sad, but there just isn't much to post about anymore, and its not fair for me to just drop Alias because of the other projects. But we have plenty to talk about in the coming months- the DVD's, the box set, JG's new movie, Vartan's new movie, JJ's other shows. Head over to Primetime!

I feel like I'm losing Alias all over again...

Will you still post items of interest if we email them to you? I can't imagine not stopping here every day to see the scene caps and get my fix! Sometimes I just don't have the time to watch an episode every day so this blog helps fill in the gaps.

Sorry to whine. I'll be an adult now. :)

Bonkers- there will still be updates and Scene Caps, so don't worry. They will just be less frequent. I will, of course, post anything you send me.

Oh, sadness...but I know that it is hard to find new things to talk about when the show is gone (wipes away tear). I ADORE Alias and everything about it! I can't wait until November! Girlscout, you've done great!

*sigh*, yes it's sad but I completely understand where you're coming from GS. I'm sad that I haven't been able to be more active on the blog since I'm actually busy at my new job and my mac at work can't load the blog properly, but I agree that our topics will probably become more numerous after the season 5 DVDs are released. I'll still check back to see what's new and posted when I can and wish you the best of luck on your other blogs. I'll definitely be posting on the Lost one when season 3 starts up! :)

Hey, GS, every international blogging icon needs to take a break once in a while.

Speaking of JG's new movie "The Kingdom", I saw a few photos of the dimpled one in costume on jen-garner.net. Just looks like she waiting for Dixon to show up.

Gosh, I hope this is a heart-warming, kick-ass role for her. My worst nightmare is having JG end up in a long-running sitcom about the wild antics of a stay-at-home soccer mom, or worse yet, a "Desperate Housewife". I want Jen out there playing some ass-kicking pillar of virtue, Jack Bauer with a killer smile. Promise you won't go "Designing Women" on me, Jen!

Next on the agenda...getting Kevin "Marshall" Weisman a real job, unlike that Clerks 2 thingy I saw advertised the other night. Yikes!

I know people have lives, but this is sad and (sorry) is just another Alias body blow. I'll still be checking in here regularly, but would like to invite anyone who wants something to fill the Alias gap to stop in at:

Lots to read and lots of Alias talk. So, when you are Alias lonely, stop in.
GS, Thanks for making this such a great place.

Very understandable GS! I'll miss all the banter and comment chat! But, it's good to know you'll still be around and doing other things too!

You've made this blog a great place to visit and we ALL thank you for that! :) You're one talented chica!
