Alias in April

Happy Monday all! Happy Monday indeed! Word is out! Kristen at EOnline has posted that Alias has been scheduled to return in April!! Here is the snippet that was posted on Alias-Media.

Kristin on E!Online has posted really great news about our beloved ALIAS. She has reported that it will return in April (she thinks April 19, but it is not yet official). It will be on Wednesday at 8 pm. It will only have 8 episodes left. It will return with a two hour night. Have four weeks of individual episodes. Then in May the two hour series fanaly will air. HOW EXCITEDING NOW WE ONLY HAVE TO WAIT A MONTH AND A HALF!!!!

I am stoked!! I moved into my brand new place this weekend. I am exhausted, but happy. I will be acquiring cable ASAP and DSL internet in order to be prepared for Alias' return and for blogging of course. Hang in there, I got a picture article on the way...

As I understand it, there are to be 17 total episodes, with the returning episode spanning 2 hours. 9 episodes have already. So, that is technically 8 episodes, but 9 hours of Alias, and that is not including the behind-the-scenes show I have heard rumored to be in progress.

yes, congrats on the new place GS and thanks for posting this update! I'm groaning to have to wait another month and a half but at least we have some kind of date to look forward to.

Hey All -

What article are you referring to? I haven't heard anything about the recap show. I though Kristen just said that there were going to be 8 hours of Alias left? Can one of you give a link to the aritcle (or site a source) that says that either one of these hours is a clip show, or that there will be an extra hour of clip show?

Thanks!
M

PS: It is ridiculous that they cut the episode order from 22 to 17. I was okay with them "allowing the show to end" instead of them straight up cancelling it, but I see this, combined with the late start date, as such a passive-agressive move to end the show before the story is over. Such BS.

GS - Thanks for keeping us posted - I too moved into a new place this weekend. My main concern was whether I would be able to get enough TV access via just an antenna to see the end of Alias! No need for cable, but DSL is in the works!!!
