Pleasantly Surprised

As I mentioned in the most below, I was extremely anxious for the 2 hour Grey's episode last night. I was ready for some drama and I was already drooling with excitement- so you can imagine my reaction when ANOTHER Alias star made an appearance- DAVID ANDERS!!! aka British baddie Julian Sark!! I nearly died!

He played the pregnant woman's husband in the Private Practice portions of the Grey's episode. Very exciting to see him on screen again. I remembered, from episode commentaries, that David Anders and Merrin Dungey are friends, or were friends before Alias even started. Apparently David was friends with Merrin's ex-boyfriend. And then of course the two got closer when the played the villians Sark and Evil Francie. I was really hoping he would look right at the camera and well, wave at us.

LOL, isn't that funny how you recognize someone on a show you didn't expect to see them in and you feel like you're seeing an old friend even though you've never met? :) I don't watch Grey's Anatomy (yeah I know, I think I'm the only person I know who doesn't), but it would have been good to see both David and Merrin. Nice to know they're getting work though.

My friend E sees the show an hour before me and she called me and she was like- SARK!!! I was so excited to see him.

The spin-off isn't too bad. Too many commericals last night, so it was hard to get into it. But good characters, with lots of drama. Should be pretty good.

It was so great to see him...and Merrin, too, of course...but I kept looking for Syd, Vaughn, Jack, anyone!!! Will there ever be another show like Alias??? I think not...

But how how was Tim Daly?

I don't usually watch Grey but somehow got sucked into it last night. Private Practice looks good! And yes, I have to agree that it was a pleasant surprise to see both "Francie" and "Sark" in there! Once I recognized David Anders, I yelled for my sister to come to my room so she can see how hot he still is!

srg-alias,

No, you aren't the only one who doesn't watch Grey's. I did tune in to see MG and DA, but, since Grey's is solely aimed at the chick demographic (I'm going to kiss you with tongue"???????...who writes this crap?), I could only cope long enough to see a few frames of MG. Nice to see she's off that sitcom I last saw her on. What a waste that was!

There are only so many hours in a day, and certainly not enough to waste on sitcoms. I still get the heebee geebees (sp.) when I think of "Kitchen Confidential". I only watched that steaming pile once (when MV guested)and I thought it was garbage-to-the-max. And you know what? I was right.

Ooops, not MG, MD. Shame on me!
