The Barbara Biltmore

One of the happiest times for Syndey and Vaughn revolved around the planning of a weekend in Santa Barbara. Vaughn finally made the reservations the night Sydney went head to head with Evil Francie and disappeared for two years.

JJ was always good at placing the gang in real settings- a restaurant, a famous location, a book store, a coffee shop. In an episode, Vaughn mentions the Biltmore Hotel- and folks- it actually exsists. Here is the lovely Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel, located beach side in sunny Sanata Barbara, the very one Vaughn booked for the couples romantic getaway...

I love looking into the blurbs mentioned on Alias. I wonder if the giraffe at the Santa Barbara Zoo really has a crooked neck?

PS. Blogger Tammy did a little recon on her own and found this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Barbara_Zoo

Turns out Vaughn was right! Crooked neck and everything!

that's so cute! Sorry I've been MIA, was away for Thanksgiving and haven't opened my season 5 DVDs yet (am getting them tonight). I'll be back though, are we starting S5 DVD episode articles?

I went to college in Santa Barbara. It is my favorite place on earth (so far)! We are going to Southern California for Christmas and are staying for a night or two in Santa Barbara. I stayed at the Biltmore once on a girl's trip, but now we just walk the grounds and remember the old times and stay in, shall we say, more modest hotels. : )

This personal tie was one reason I loved Syd and Vaughn and Alias. I miss it a lot!

PS - GirlScout - we too have been snowed in on the Eastside (of Seattle) for the last couple days. It's been torture though because instead of watching my box set, I've been outnumbered and forced to watch Blue's Clues, Angelina Ballerina, and Sesame Street. All great shows that maybe you should consider covering on Primetime Princess (they air daytime and primetime!).

What a beautiful place for a romantic holiday. When you are planning your romantic getaway you should choose a location that is known for its exotic and romantic ways. A Getaway is a great time to release the stress of daily life and get to know each other at a deeper level. A stunning room with a beautiful view over the tropical backdrop or lagoon would be a great way to start a romantic getaway with your partner.
