Ah, Facade

Season 3 episode 15 "Facade" was on TV this evening. I have decided that it is the absolute best of Alias. Come on! Vaughn as Sark, Sark and Vaughn on a plane, Ricky Gervais as the mad bomber, Weiss faking his death!! I know I have said it before- but the parking lot scene in the end of the episode is BY FAR my FAVORITE Syd and Vaughn moment of all time. Simple and simple.

Just wanted to share and to tell you- PULL OUT SEASON 3 and WATCH IT!

I agree it is a wonderful episode and such a pure moment between Vaughn and Syd. It reminds me of the scene on the stair case when Syd thinks Vaughn may have been shot. It was natural, honest, very human and so perfect in it's setting. The same can be said for this garage scene, the music, body language, vaughn doesn't even have to say anything he just knows and they embrace. It's lovely!

That really is one of the best Alias eppies of all time, I agree! So much emotion, excitement, suspense, it's great.

I'm on season 4 right now and just watched Mirage, which is also one of my favs. It always makes me tear up when Syd is watching Jack play the piano w/ the faux-Syd little girl. You know she's wishing just for a second that it wasn't all just a "facade" or an act, and hates ruining the moment when the men come to sedate Jack. Possibly worth a scene-of-the-week or day?

I've started my own little Alias website, but it's not as cool as this one! I'm just starting out, and kinda feeling my way around. If you wanna check it out, check the link;

I love this episode too. Definitely one of the very best.

Was at the mall today and I saw JG on a poster at the Gap for their new Red campaign. She looks incredible as usual. Just nice to see her face out there. Does anyone know when The Kingdom is coming out?

I am sooo stoked to see The Kingdom. The director of the film is none other than Noah Hicks aha the Snowman. HAHAHA

I adore the scene with Syd and Vaughn...watch it over and over...the music is PERFECT...wasn't the music ALWAYS perfect on Alias??? This scene, the North Korean jail, Vaughn seeing Syd's house for the first time, and of course, the kitchen scene are all my faves!

Every time Syd walks through a parking garage, tension mounts. Something noteworthy always happens in the shadows of the parking garage, beginning with Truth be Told and ending with Reprisal.

When I walk through a parking garage, nothing ever happens. Okay, maybe some punk flips me the bird and I beg for him not to hurt me, but that's it.

Yep, this one is one of the best. So much in it that I like. I really like the way Jack dealt with our little terrorist.

Mirage is one of my all time favorites too, and exactly because of the scenes where Syd/Irnia and Jack are talking and Jack says he's going to quit the CIA for Syd.
Jerk my eyeballs out and wring them dry, I'm drowning in my tears! The best od Alias is so multifaceted.

I just finished rewatching S5 for the first time in 6 months. It was a very emotional day for me. I still can't believe it's gone.

It's been awhile since I watched Alias, but I clearly remember Facade. Maybe the best of the 2nd half of the season for me. I love Syd's nose ring.

Filming for The Kingdom is done. I think it's scheduled for release in April of 2007.
