Best Scene Cap Ever

"Wait, did you just say you were shot by your mom?"
I heart Will! Heart him and I heart this episode. The season opener of season 2 is one of the greatest opening episodes of Alias. After the jaw-dropping finale of season 1 and the discovery that Sydney Bristow's mother is still alive- the mood needs a little change and Will brings it with that line. Finally Sydney's three lives merge (her personal, her SD-6 life and her CIA life) by having Will crossover as someone in her life who knows her secret. This is huge for Sydney and huge for the show.
Also, I love Sydney and Weiss' scene in micro-self storage. They are worried about Vaughn- as he is missing since being lost in the laboratory as it filled with water. Sydney sits down with Barnett to chat about the return of her mom and Dixon tells Sloane he suspects Sydney to be a double agent. GOOD EPPY!

Great new song. This is one of the top Alias moments!

Been to the end of the internet and back tonight. Thanks for keeping this site going - it is a bright spot in an otherwise dreary internet landscape : )

One of the greatest mistakes of season three was losing Will Tippin's contribution to the show. He brought a lightness, not only to the show, but also to Sydney. She never really seemed "at home" or as comfortable as she did when Will was around. After years of being a "super-spy," we saw her character harden some, but when Will came around, it was like she finally took a moment to feel human.

I didn't much like the mealy-mouthed, nosey little twerp at first. I guess I thought he lacked a certain amount of masculinity in his behavior. Then the show started to develop him more on-screen, letting his investigative instinct drive him to search for the answers to the secrets-of-Syd.

(I was shocked that he would dump a hottie like his assistant Jeni, but then again, everyone he knew was in mortal danger. He may have justified it that way. We all know it was because he had a linguering school-boy crush on Sydney.)

I still didn't like him much even after he found out about Jack, but he was growing on me. The defining moment for me finally liking him was when he broke free of his bonds, grabbed the needle, stuck it in Dr. Lee's neck, screaming, "One in five, you little ______! One in five. Ha hah hah!"

After that, he just made the show better every time he was on the screen.

I never hated Will, but I was frustrated with him meddling in things he wasnt supposed to be meddling in. I loved when he found out, his face when he saw Sydney in the dark red wig was so funny (ps..check out the blooper of him doing that...hahaha)
Love the new song, GS. I have a suggestion for the next song...anyone know the song "Delicate" by Damien Rice? It was playing at the end of episode 3x12 "Crossings" I feel like the song made the scene more powerful. anyway, its just a suggestion.
good BSE, GS.

About the music- a lot of the time I can't find codes for certain songs I want to use. I have been searching to find more codes, but as you can see, I have to find songs that have music videos in order to post them. If any of you have any ideas about sites that have just the music codes without the videos, please let me know.

GS, good song! I really liked it when I first heard it but even more when they used it in "Full Disclosure". :) BTW, I tweaked the HTML on the size of the video since it was looking squished to me, let me know if that's ok.

Good screen cap, the first time I saw that episode and Syd was narrating and explained how she told Will about SD-6 and his response was "...are you serious??" I laughed so hard! I started watching Alias in season 3 so I didn't know anything about Will or Francie at first. I guess because of that I didn't miss them like fans from the beginning, but going back and watching seasons 1-2 to catch up I also started to miss Syd's friends. Ah well, I still love his cameo in season 3, and man he looks good with a buzz cut!

I too started out not liking Will, but ended up liking him. And...I was surprised with the Jeni thing.

I also want Alias back. I mean I WANT IT BACK! Right now I've tricked my feeble brain into thinking it's just another summer break, whilst the writers get cracking on a brilliant Season 6.

However, come the fall, when Jack's new show is on and Sloane and Grace start exchanging meaningless "family-drama" type dialogue with Ally McBeal, I fear that my feeble brain might actually explode (maybe even implode, we'll have to wait and see)

Bottom line, Alias may be finished with me, but I'm not finished with Alias.
