Scene Cap of the Day

Kicking ass and taking names!
Pretty sure this is where I first decided that I wanted to BE Sydney Bristow. The parking garage fight scene in which Sydney learns that SD-6 is after her and that her father is also an agent is our first glimpse into her double life. Now she is on the run and really- she's been running ever since.
PS. I will be watching a few more episodes of season 3 tonight- notably the episodes involving Sydney's break-out and the return of Will Tippin! Love him! So, I will have another lengthy recap for you tomorrow morning. Also, I will be finishing up "Alias: A Secret Life" which is the second book in the series. Be looking for a book review in the next couple of days.
PSS. Uncle 111 has updated Omega 17 with season 4 and season 5, episodes 1-11 transcripts. Check it out!

yeah, that was exactly when I started wanting to be Sydney, too. around that time my usual outfit was a red shirt and khaki pants... so when I saw Syd in that I thought it was the best. remember how she got Francie to call her cellphone so it would ring and throw the guys off so she could surprise them from behind? I've been waiting for my chance to use that. ha!

Nice Lisa! My sister thinks she is Sydney. She is in the midst of perfecting a running jump kick. She looks ridiculous doing it, but it makes me want to learn Taekwon Do or something. I think her clothes in season 4 are the best, along with hair, but I loved her first apartment, with Francie.

Is it a bad thing that I never wanted to BE Sydney?:)

When Sydney administered that final kick to the would-be assassin in the parking garage, sending his greasy little head through the car window, that is the exact moment I decided I wanted to cancel all future plans and run away with Sydney Bristow. I mean, the guy was teetering anyway, but she just had to cap off her beating with one last kick and the cutest little grunt. Sydney owned me with that kick.

I wanted to be Sydney in the opening scene. Tied up in the chair, giving suit and glasses a world of trouble. It all started right there for me.

girlscout: you are half way thru the best 4 ep arc of the season. Have fun!

Question for Alias trivia freaks:

Was "Truth be Told", (that stunning piece of gut-wrenching-heart-pounding-give-me-more-of-this spy-candy)the one and only episode in which Sydney referred to Jack as "Daddy" and was it also the one and only episode in which Marshall referred to Sydney as "Ms. Bristow"?

"Get a life", although appropriate, will not be considered a valid answer.

I do believe in the commentary for that episode that Jennifer Garner and JJ Abrams say it is the one and only time that Sydney calls him Daddy. I thought perhaps she might have called him that in a flashback scene- but I remembered the little girl who played Sydney never talked, she didn't have any lines. As for the Ms. Bristow, not sure. Marshall started calling her Syd pretty early on though.

anser for anan:
Marshall calls Sydney "Ms. Bristow" first in Season 1, Episode 2 "So it Begins." It's when he tells her he's sorry about Danny and that he's glad she's back, also the first time she walks into SD-6 as a double. a heavy scene! I watched 1.2 last night. loving it.
