Fitty Thousand

YAHOO! We did it! We made 50,000 hits! One week before the end of our beloved show- this website, this blog of the most loyal and intrigued Alias fans, has reached the goal- 50,000 hits. We have explored every theory, we have gone back in time to old episodes, old seasons, we have researched, hashed out and dug deep into the endless possibilties for the end of Alias.

I want to say thank you to Jenn and SRG for their countless, behind-the-scenes hours of research and writing and for taking such good care of the blog. They have become more than just my contributors- but my good friends.

A special thanks to Starbucks Mom, Angie, Uncle, Robby, Paul, Lhaaheim, Birdie and Sara for your contributions and support of the blog. Your ideas and theories, your knowledge and love of the show has brought so much to the site and inspired me to look at not only Alias, but television in a whole new way.
And of course-thank you to the everyday bloggers from all over the country who stop in to get updates, to share ideas and meet new people. You have made this place what it is and I am so proud.
Thanks to Alias, JJ Abrams and ABC for inspiring me to open this blog- to share my ideas, my knowledge and education about literature and my love for writing. I can't believe what has become of this tiny blog. In this forum I have met so many amazing and fun people, and I know I will continue to meet more in the future. Really, I was just one girl with a small idea and you all have made it so much more than that!! Thanks all... and congrats to Paul- visitor 50,001!!

It is a good thing we are able to hop to the new blog for Lost! Now at least the pain is not too bad.

Also a huge thank you to GS, it's been so much fun discussing the last season of our fav show on such a great blog with so many fans! I'm excited for the Lost blog to pick up speed soon but will always remember Let's Talk Alias as my first blogging experience, and what a great one it's been!! :)

it makes me sick that we didn't do this sooner! But it's been fun. I'm sure we will have a few weeks of topics to discuss once the finale airs though.

It's not over yet!! We still have at least three hours to discuss!

And I just realized that I'm going to be out of town on Wednesday . . . I'll try to catch the episode on the live ABC feeds, but connections are iffy up in the mountains of CO where I'll be. In any case, I can't wait to enjoy these final chapters!

Thanks, everybody, for all your hard work on this blog!

It's not over yet everyone, and though Alias ending is going to cause us great pain the blog still lives on. I think GS said it would stay up for at least 6 months. All we have to do is find creative ways to keep Alias alive. I'm pretty sure we can do that, look at the Star Trek fans and Buffy fans, and so many others; they are still around and kicking. So no more goodbyes, we may not be able to watch new episodes of Alias after the finale but we can always blog about our favorite show.

On another note, I really love this blog and you are all such wonderful and supportive people! Big group hug!!!

On yet another note, I watched the season finale of the West Wing last night, and it was so hard not to cry, in fact I cried a lot. How are we going to handle losing Alias?

No tears my friends, Alias might be over on TV, but not here! We are alive and strong here at Let's Talk, so no worries. You can get your Alias fix here.

GS, it sounds like we're addicted and you're our dealer... haha.

To everyone involved:
Thanks for all the great work on the blog. This place is awesome for discussing the show.

Awesome site indeed. As others have said, it's sad that i've only discovered this since season 5 started again. I definitely am part of the hardly comment, but read everything category, and i thought i might as well put in another random connection between Alias and Lost that hopefully no one has already brought up..

In that 'Lockdown' ep on Lost, when that static starts coming through the speakers and Locke looks at the computer screen and then up at the timer, it's exactly at 047:00..

Anyway, that's my first and only useless fact of the daY.
