Q & A

No, I am not talking about the episode in which Sydney gets grilled by FBI Director Kendall. I am talking about an opportunity for all of you to ask questions and to get your answers.

Questions about Alias? Is a storyline got you confused? Are past episode events a little hazy? Ask away! Want to know more about me and the blog? Then step right up and let the questions begin. Also, if you have questions for other bloggers- this is a great place to leave them a message and they can respond at their discretion.

I just want you give you all a chance to learn more about Alias, myself and about this fabulous little blog we call Let's Talk!

Ready, set, GO!!

PS. Happy 25th Birthday Beeg!

If you have an explanation for that major season three gaff that I wrote about and sent to you in an e-mail, I'd love to hear it. Half of season three and all of season four hinged upon the box with the name "Irena" on it, and it just doesn't make sense that it was just a contraption Sloane used to hide the mechanical heart. After noticing this, I have become very frustrated with the whole Rambaldi theme.

We have to remember that Irina comes from the Greek word Irine, which means Peace. Also, remember that Sloane was reading The Illiad. All these references to Greek and Greek mythology may have something to do with it. But perhaps the box with Irina's name on it meant Peace. I need to do some research on what you sent me Robby, but look into the a Greek connection.

I have been watching all four seasons and then watching them again for weeks now, and the one thing that really stumps me everytime is the muellar device has nothing to do with Rambaldi. At the end of season four Sloane says that he had no idea that the muellar device would counteract the effects of the water. If I'm not mistaken, the formula for the water that would make everyone that drank it a more peaceful and calm person from Rambaldi. I don't know if I am looking to deep into this or what.

Maybe Rambaldi didn't know it either. He could have just invented both, each independent of the other. But then again he was a prophet, now was he not? And Sloane could have been LYING.

Yes, the Mueller device does have to do with Rambaldi. It is mentioned in the second episode.

Mueller based is design on drawings by Rambaldi.

Syd and Vaughn saw a video in the abandoned Soviet Rambaldi faclility of Nadia, when she was about 6, writing under the influence of the green fluid. How did they know she was the Passenger, how is it that she doesn't remember being there or having that experience, and how then did she get to Argentina with Elena and not remember that happening?

Also, if Nadia is tied to 10 aliases by her DNA and only saw one Dr. for her whole life, a follower of Rambaldi who knew she was the Passenger and had worked to protect her from Sydney, whom he'd never met, how does Nadia not know any of this? Or does she know it, but is playing dumb for some evil reason?

As for the M Device, yes, it is Rambaldi. It was in his drawings and from the first episode it has been one of the main goals of Rambaldi followers. It keeps reappearing. It is meant to activate the formula from the orchid, and depending on how you use it the effects can be to make people more holstile or more cooperative.

Ooooh, Uncle, you have all the same questions as me!! Nadia had to have known she was somehow connected to Rambaldi. You ask a lot of great questions. Some I do not know the answers to. I will say that I think Nadia plays a larger part than we think and that somehow, how we least expect it, the prophecy about the Chosen One and Passenger "battling" will come true.

I don't think that we have really been given all of the information about the Chosen One and the Passenger. Maybe we don't even know WHO the real Chosen One is. Irina gives every indication that Sydney is in fact the Chosen One, but I'm not really sure. There are to many things that don't add up about the whole battle and like Uncle111 said about Nadia.

as far as the Rambalsi prophecy, didn't we raise the question of who the actual propehcy was about? I remember we discussed a while back that perhaps the prophecy is Irina and Elena instead of Syd and Nadis. Irina and Elena did do battle in Savogda over good and evil. Adn remeber Irina kept seeing all of those signs from the prophecy that night like the falling angel and the horse covered in blood.

As far as the Irina meaning peace thing, could Sloane have figured that out? He said once he assembled the Rambaldi machine it only said one word, "Peace"- but perhaps it said Irine and he discovered that meant peace (and that's what he told everyone) but realized Irina has more to do with this than he thought and never told anyone it said Irina name.

Sloane's lying about what all the device wrote. We know from other another episode that it wrote a key to Nadia's DNA, revealing a way to locate the Passenger.

Was there anything else in the message he's not telling? Probably.

oh I would bet on it!! Well whatever the big "surprise"shocker is at the end, I guess Jennifer Garner had an idea to begin with and was pretty sure her suspicions were true, so it must be something we've all either already come upwith, or just aren't thinking of. She said in an interview, "I'm pretty sure I have an idea of what will happen at the end, and if it's true it will he huge." What could it be?

Jenn,
What you said sounds awfully close to, "It's either something we've already thought of or something we haven't already thought of." :) :):) :) :) (sorry!:))

Ahh! I need to know. In first season, sydney went to Mount Sabousi(?), you know. And the prophecy said "This woman has never seen the beauty of mount sabousi..." Is this a miss the writers has done, or what? please answer this. and sorry for my bad english :)
