Scene Cap of the Day (SCD)

Back in SpyDaddy's arms, nice and safe.
This is the cap I tried to post yesterday with my season 3 review. This is after Sydney has been rescued from Fort Williams by her father and the gang. I love this moment- one, because Sydney was finally safe and sound (well, sorta) and two, Jack did everything in his power to save Sydney and it worked. Lovely tender moment. Syd and SpyDaddy had a great relationship throughout season 3. Hardly any secrets, hardly ever a fights. It was nice to see them finally fall into a "normal" relationship.

I agree that the scene was beautiful. I hated the breif dialogue and the fact that the episoded ended that way, but I mentioned that already, and I won't get into it again.

Associated with the thread above this one - wouldn't it be great to be able to hear the internal dialogue Syd has within herself for moments like these. You can often see it on her face, but it would be great to have some sort of voice-over too.

Nice Spygirl, I agree. I love that VG and JG are close in real life. I love that he is a real life father figure to her and that they remain close.

I agree Lonzi. I liked Syd and Vaughn's relationship in season 1 and 2, but it died in season 3 and Jack took over. And in season 4, it ws still weird and 5, sucky.

I actually have that picture apart of my wallpaper. Me being a daddy's girl makes this one of my favorite Jack and Syd moments.

I miss Jack too. Besides every other reason, Jack and Syd's relationship was one of the pillars of the show.
I loved that moment in S3.

I am on my 6th or 7th round watching the series over again on Netflix and TNT and they just showed the first few episodes of S1 (should just buy the DVDs already). The first time through the series, I loved the Syd/Vaughn relationship best and it is still definitely the passionate part of the show (at least through S3), but Syd/Jack is the heart of the show for sure and what stands out each time reviewing the series.

This is one of my all time favorite moments with them - this one and Syd running to Jack after Lindsey releases him from custody in "The Two" which is in my top 5 all time episodes. Also the series finale in Syd and Jack's last scene together - one of the only true-to-the-series moments for me in the finale. I just love the evolution of their relationship from start to finish.

I love when Syd sees him for the first time in prison after her missing 2 years. I love how they look at each other. Love it!
