It's the only two weeks in a four year period where things like long and short track speed skating matter to anyone other than friends and family of the athletes.<br /><br />And, of course, having someone like <a href="http://www.ctvolympics.ca/team-canada/athletes/athlete=3267/index.html" rel="nofollow">Clara Hughes</a> (the only person in history to win multiple medals in summer and winter games) to skate her <a href="http://www.ctvolympics.ca/video/index.html?assetid=d06699fa-2d65-45e0-850d-631bc102f5f0" rel="nofollow">final race</a> in front of a screaming hometown crowd and walk away with a medal is the kind of thing that makes the Olympics such a great event for us couch potatoes to sit back and watch. I really like that show. I'm also trying to get season 3 DVDs of The Unit from the library so I can get more caught up with that. I w...I'm really liking 'Human Target.'<br /><br />I was a huge fan of Boston Legal, so I've had trouble not seeing the lead character as "Brad," the ex-Marine, patriotic semi-conservative who was often the butt of liberal stereotypical jokes. He does a good job with this new role, though.<br /><br />Burn Notice wisely hasn't tried to change a formula that works, even if the story arc seems a little cloudy. The show is like an old friend that comes to visit once a week.<br /><br />I'm not thrilled with the recycled story lines of 24. It's nice to see Kara Thrace in a role a bit more feminine, but her plot twist has been done once or twice before.<br /><br />Say whatever happened to V?
